| Bio: | I lived in Boston for many years, now live near Albany, and am lucky enough to have dear friends in both places. I'm an odd mixture of openness and reserve. I am passionate about privacy, which is one of the things that's kept me from using LJ until now. What changed my mind? A number of things, but primarily, wanting to come out of the shadows. I've been following what's going on in the lives of people I care about, but from a distance; not giving them the chance to do the same with me. That's not fair, so... < /lurk > I have many artsy hobbies, but only one art form. I'm a Cook - a serious foodie. I think everyone should practice at least one art; creativity is good for the soul. I have no humble opinions, but will strongly argue about the importance of respecting yours. | |
